I would like you to shoot my wedding, how do I start the process?
Call, text, email, message or reach me via my contact form along with your wedding date and venue. If possible, I would like to meet you both in person so you can get to know your future photographer and can ask me everything you need. Once you've decided to choose me as your photographer, I will send a contract for you to sign and return with a deposit.
Can we meet with you before we book?
Absolutely! In fact, we strongly recommend it. If possible we will set up an in-person meeting, or we can set up a Skype webcam chat at a time that is convenient for you.
What's the booking process?
Once you have decided you want to hire me, you secure your wedding date with a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total price based on package. (You can always add on to your packages.) The remaining balance can be split into one or two payments before wedding day. Balance is due prior to day of wedding.
How much of a deposit do you need?
I require a initial 50% non-refundable retainer/deposit along with the contract for events. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot or wedding day.
Is my deposit refundable?
I am running a business and I need to protect my time, money and livelihood. Short answer is no. However, there are always exceptions and the law requires reasonable mitigation.
How far in advanced should I book?
Typically 6-12 months out once you have date and venue secured, but contact me for availability if it's short notice.
Do you have a second shooter?
Absolutely...All my wedding packages include an assistant EXCEPT for the 4 hour Silver package.
Will you be shooting?
Absolutely!! You hired me. I am the lead shooter, but I have incredible assistants that help out.
